Guess who is comming to dinner …

by sternenhoch on Oct.24, 2009, under Daily life, Dog's medailons

This title of cult movie went to my ears when we agreed with my dear friend Ivonne, that “Boy” will come to us. I never wanted to have blacks, I never wanted to breed blacks … but when I already started with them, why to settle with compromises. First I was very lucky to have the opportunity to use Whiskey – Ch. CharN’Co One More For The Road and get great result from this connection and than we were standing with two girls from this connection looking around what to use. What to preffer – nice look or bloodlines? Nothing was simply good enough for us, when I was comparing with Boy all the time and I couldn’t find what I wanted. I was incredible happy when I got message from Ivonne, that she considered to borrow him for a little while. YES! I will have black show dog, I will have black stud dog, I will have cropped dog … which I still like more ;)

It don’t mean only to collect him and have him, it also means new show planes in countries where he can be shown, it means more traveling, more exciting trips. I already printed out all shows in the Europe for 2010, we will finaly see France, where we are invated for long time  ago to my dear friend Danielle, we will visit my friends in Bulgary, say hi to my friends in Hungary, in Slovak, in Poland, in Yugoslavia. Good I learned all slavian languages, even at school Iwas thinking for what the hell I will use serbo-croatian and bulgarian language, why should I still keep to repeat russian? I can’t wait to practise these languages at shows next year! Me and Pia, Twister, Boy, Mori and Zsu-Zsu … and very soon little Ginger, which noone knows about yet ;)

For now enjoy a few photos of Boy, Gran Caribe War Admiral, the star from Caribean paradise, the Black Pearl and pirat in ones. I can’t wait to have him in my arms, thank you, Ivonne! I will do my best to send him home as real legend!

Calendar ready …

by sternenhoch on Oct.01, 2009, under Daily life

01_obalka_web A lot of pencils were broken, a lot of nights were used, a lot of coffee … but the final result came! Yesterday night were all 14 pages sent to printary and the Thursday before World Winner show will be our calendar colected from printary. 13 beautiful schnauzers, 14 pages of calendar, new design, new style …

This year is calendar going to be printed in 800 pieces, 300 more than last year and we are little afraid it would be not enough anyway. Second edition and popularity all over the world, many new askings for drawing their dog and big words about the drawings are making my soul a little shy … I’m just doing what I can see on the paper, before the pencil will touch the point, I simply can see the picture before is done like it would be printed and than I’m only making the lines around :) There is nothing so fantastic on it. I only love the special feeling, if I’m totaly inside the drawing, than it’s like someone else is leading my hand andvizitka drawing the picture. Funny feeling.

Our new visit card is ready for print too, it’s our new new desing for new webiste … which I hopefully will have time for now, when all the rests are done.

Now the calendar is done and I have finaly time to write a little on blog about our cosy shows the last weeks, great success of our puppies in the show rings and also some stories whats going on here. Now enjoy a few drawings from the calendar, hope you will enjoy them more printed in the calendar :)

Showy time …

by sternenhoch on Sep.24, 2009, under Shows

DSC_0906The autumn became a real show season for us, our dogs and our bearded children all over the Europe. First of all Twister became Danish Champion as quickly as possible. Three shows in lines, bang bang bang and … title is on the table. Even the last CERT was on the point as he was in very short coat prepaired for World Winner and one week ago we agreed he will stay home. But good old natural receipt from my old friend how to get coat growing more quickly worked as always and Twister could enjoy the show day, what he loves so much :)

We didn’t think to hunt any points for Gold dog title and than after make some patetic pictures with cheap first plan thema – not one eye dry, american aplaus and … It remainds me the beloved advert with chihuahua and false xmas decorations. All my czech friends must laugh their gods out now ;) So we said NO – when he was already in the leading position, he will do it. And he did.

This fantastic dog which moves like a dream took my heart back to black and silvers. I thought I left them after some years … but … now I’m going to have his daughter and … and one big  big black and silver suprise.

Now we can hardly publish all succes of our grand children – Angel of Avalon Goldton became VDH Junior Champion, PSK Junior Champion and on top she got BIS at Schnauzer specialty in Germany. This lovely girl became famous all over Germany and her owners became proud that they decieded to trust us and trust to their own eyes and take what they liked. Now it’s paying back, Falko and Ines, as you can see, sometimes is good to be stubborn ;) And a little hope for future in their hands is Kevin’s daughter Happy Fantagira z Barokamu, which just for fun at first show took BIS baby and beated out in final ring even my beautiful black baby CRISS CROSS Knizete Sternenhocha which for this time had to see only bottom from Happy! But revanche is prepaired haha :) It’s always nice to see two smashing dogs fighting who will be better – as long as it’s fair play, it’s pleasure however the placement is. This text was written at begining of september, only published little later and when I wrote it, I didn’t even know what’s in front of us …

Visiting Mori’s daughters

by sternenhoch on Aug.03, 2009, under Daily life

It was just a cosy trip to Slangerup to visit Mori’s children at 7 weeks at age in kennel Capella. First I was tired after long and cosy and relaxing evening grill party by Bodil and Nils Jordal from kennel Klondaike. There we met a lot of schnauzer people and dogs and we talk the club, the breeding, the color mixing, all the schnauzer troubles and we were laughing and drinking just a little ;) and simply enjoying the evening. We even offered the last piece of meat to auction for the club account, but we didn’t succeed, so we must help the club economy by other way :) I felt in love in Laura, the little german pinscher, her attitude and activity, clever face and big eyes catching everything around, took my heart. May be one day here will be one from this breed. I must say – they are funny, clever and special.

So we came late late after midnight home and the dogs were of course full of energy, which kept till morning, when the cuDSC_0208te girls Sue and Myszi decieded, that the corner in our hall is looking too boring and made it following their ideas about cosy home. Now is some stuff hanging from it, it’s bitten till the ground … So I have to put myself together and buy some gips and repair this holes all over. Anyway we wanted to paint the house soon, so …

But we wanted to see the two daughters from Mori and Jollene, so I putted the place to navigation and relay it will lead us. Yes, it did. We saw a lot … the guy inside the little box decieded, we should enjoy the field roads, the horse farms, fields fields fields aaand horses. For half an hour we were somewhere by riding school, farmers, totaly lost between fields. Than we came on nice road again and we finaly found the place. Cosy coffee, little grooming on the girls and than time to look at them in peace.

They growed nicely and are going to be promissing show dogs. Both girls wills tay in breeders / showers hands, so it was pleasure to confirm this fact. As usual me and Pia didn’t agree about the type which one is better, but hard to deciede. They are both moving very well, nice angulated, all in all promissing ones. In between I was playing with giants, I still miss big dog as I always had shepherds in training … But I can imagine the work around them and with my limited time, miniatures are more than enough.

Now we will follow their show steps and may be fight with them in rings ;) but whoever will stay in front, it’s in family anyway… So, girls, see you in the rings … soon :)

Flower’s day

by sternenhoch on Jul.16, 2009, under Daily life

dsc_0129It was some flower day, god damn it! We decieded to make our garden alive with flowers. After I cleaned all the grass from stones and the garden started to look nice, someone came with idea to buy flowers! O.K. than, so we collected ourself to choose some. I didn’t expect, I would be drecked for hours in green houses in this hot weather, it was not so hot in Brasil at ll like there, I got 6 mosquito stitches there and on top of all I’m not the real flower persone. Pia, as the previous owner of flower shop, was like fish in the water, running around taking this one and this one, the red one better twice. Finaly we ended with 8 big flowers for hanging and the problem started – how to transport them? As the real doggy people we always have cage in car, so we putted the flowers around the cage, and with open 5th doors it looked like coffin for furinal, that noone passed our car without making cross. So, the car was full of flowers, I was sitting with ones on lap totaly covered, hoping there are not so many bees in them. I will never understand how we got them inside …

When we reached home started fight where to put what, because here my estetic feelings wook up from the boiling glashouses and didnt understand why it’s not cosy to have big flowers hanging on pears tree, I’m sure Salvator Dali would agree with me, but it finaly ended on wood fence, with my comment – it’s looking like you want to dry something up there … but even dry flowers decoration could be nice. O.K., I won at least the big colour ones to have them under terass, but when I was carying them downstairs, puppies and Tiny found out that is great salat and before I attieved to put them up, big piece was stripped down to please the little devils. Anyway now it’s looking cosy, I must say.

Here are the photos, now we finaly can use them to the profile About us, after two years living here ;) But good photographer is always waiting for the right opportunity to get best pics…

PS: Please, my dear friends, save the types of joke like: Now we believe you, that is really nice by you, so the firm can pack the atrapas and go again.

Grooming, grooming

by sternenhoch on Jul.14, 2009, under Daily life

Today I finaly convinced myself to strip Twister, because World Winner show is comming and it was on time … To my BIG surprise there was new coat under, GREAT :) We didnt count with any show before World Winner, as boys will be stripped for this special action, but but … it’s changing a little the planes. So, today will be fulled the show calendar for upcoming months. Even he don’t needs any danish certificate now, he should’t forget how it’s to run in the rings … Noone can help to love this little tender guy. Especialy not our sneeky Myszi, daughter of Mori and Tini at her 4 months, she knows exactly how to control his soft point and he has eyes only for the little snake. It’s amazing to follow what’s going on in dog branche and our is working realy perfect.

Tomorrow Mori is in line for stripping, to be in good jacket when he is meeting many of his children in Bratislava in october. If I’m counting well, we should meet there 6 of them. It’s almost for stud dog class, actually why not…

75

Oh yes, and I got next email about show in Kosice, Slovak. Our great boy Maleus Malleficarum Knizete Sternenhocha “Reno” got his second CAJC and it’s only a little step from being a Junior champion. He should finish it in august …

This boy is really funny, frist he is a true copy of his father, in all directions. If they are standing together, it’s hard to find out who is who, only Reno has a little darker ears, that’s all what is different on him. And their characters are totaly the same. He is the same mummy’s boy with the same eyes turned all the time up to mum. Haha and his mum is as much craizy with him as I’m … strange :D

So the grooming time started … now it will be in sign of rolling, unwooling, finishing and taking hopefully great photos.

Just a breeder’s day

by sternenhoch on Jul.12, 2009, under Daily life

Today we had really breeder’s day, full of work and fun. First we were grooming two of my puppies from my last black litter – “Bella” and “Keshu”, which are now 4 months old and growing exactly how we wish. So, soon in the rings :)

Casus Belli Knizete Sternenhocha

Crème De La Crème Knizete Sternenhocha

It’s funny that these two took me back in memories one year ago, Keshu is exactly like his bigger brother Bandolero, which is living by Lise and Jesper in kennel Grønqvist. He reminds him a lot. Strong, self confident, with power and own opinion, but cute and sweet mummy’s boy at the same moment. Bella is a copy of her sister Krysi, in character and beautifull look. We had cosy time with them and their owner.

Than when we sitted by comp for a cup of coffee, the email was full of great news!

First Angel in Germany - ANGEL OF AVALON GOLDTON (daughter of our Minuteman Natural Talent) attieved fantastic result: Exc. 1, winner of class, Cert CAC-J, KSA-J, ISPU-J  and BOB under judge Piotr Krol (Poland)

Huge congratulations to Tonda from kennel GOLDTON, the breeder and big big congs and hugs to Falko and Ines, the proud and happy owners from Germany. What I said about this girl? :) Wait and see, she will lead the rings! And now it’s comming. We are happy together with you.

Than came regards from Poland, from Marta, the owner of Figa – Irvier’s Classy Chassy, the young hope after our Ugly Duckling’s Yelloweyed Wolfie, she took Best Baby and finally 3rd BIS BABY at National all breeds show in KOSICE, Slovak. Huge congratulations to both of you!!!

kosice09026

And than when we got little regards from Lukas and his proudness Filippo Di Orleans Knizete Sternenhocha, lovely guy in black and silver jacket. He at the same show like Chassy got his first point for Slovak Juniorchampion CAJC. Thank you Lukas and Magda for such a long trip and congratulations to the first big title! Lets go on, thats the way ;)

In between we got cute photos of our Lava (Ugly Duckling’s Zoom On Me) from Ulrika, kennel Dromfangaren, which is enjoying summer vaccation time … lucky her :) About this kennel we will write soon, because there are expected puppies! And we cann’t wait to see the little miracles!

This should be end for today, but no no… At late evening our sweet gentleman Kevin (Ch. Stubborn’s Dutch Game) got a little randevouz and we are hoping in beautifull bearded results in 9 weeks.

So, this was a real breeder’s day …
